Responsibilities
• Perform routine grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and debris removal to maintain a clean and safe facility exterior.
• Maintain and enhance landscaping, including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and seasonal upkeep of trees, shrubs, and flower beds.
• Operate and maintain equipment and tools such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and small machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Conduct basic facility repairs and preventative maintenance on buildings, walkways, and outdoor structures.
• Monitor site conditions and report or address safety hazards, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and maintenance standards.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required; Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or equipment operation.
• Ability to safely operate and maintain maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and light machinery.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping practices, including mowing, pruning, and seasonal maintenance.
