Job description

MalaceHR is seeking a Warehouse & Facilities Associate, reporting to the Warehouse Manager, supports the daily operations of both the warehouse and company facilities. This position is responsible for receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, returns processing, facility upkeep, furniture assembly, office moves, and general maintenance support. The role helps maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while delivering an exceptional experience for both customers and employees consistent with Woodland Direct's mission, vision, and core values.
Position Duties & Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
  • Perform Pick, Pack, and Ship functions.
  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Process returned merchandise following company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle and scheduled inventory counts.
  • Organize warehouse inventory and keep storage areas clean and orderly.
  • Report inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Facilities & Operational Support
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of warehouse, office, and common areas.
  • Assemble, install, and move office furniture, workstations, shelving, and equipment.
  • Assist with office moves, building projects, and event setup.
  • Perform basic facility maintenance, including replacing light bulbs, hanging fixtures, moving equipment, and minor repairs.
  • Assist with seasonal grounds maintenance and waste/recycling management.
  • Report facility maintenance issues requiring outside service.
General Responsibilities
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow established safety procedures.
  • Support operational needs across departments as business priorities require.
  • Maintain regular onsite attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Warehouse, facilities, or maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  • Forklift certification preferred or flexibility to obtain certification offered by Woodland Direct
  • Comfortable working on ladders and at heights up to 16 feet.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to assemble furniture and equipment using common hand tools.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to navigate inventory and warehouse management systems such as NetSuite.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
