Marketing Graphic Designer

Full-Time

JOB GOAL:
The Marketing Designer supports the organization's marketing initiatives by creating high-quality, visually engaging design assets with a primary focus on social media and digital marketing. This role translates marketing strategies and messaging into compelling graphics, short-form video, and visual content that drives engagement and promotes products, services, and events.
The Marketing Designer ensures brand consistency across all platforms while collaborating with the marketing team to create creative assets aligned with organizational goals. Secondary responsibilities may include supporting website updates and content management.
 


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, digital media, or a related field preferred

Experience: 2-3 years of experience in graphic design, digital marketing, or visual content creation

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva for digital design
  • Experience designing for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Ability to create high-performing visual content, social media, email, websites, landing pages, and campaigns
  • Understanding of current design trends, especially for social and digital marketing
  • Ability to translate marketing messages into engaging visual content
  • Basic knowledge of branding and maintaining visual consistency across channels
  • Experience with photography and/or video editing is a plus
  • Knowledge of WordPress
  • Familiarity with print design/print standards
  • Strong organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Graphic Design & Social Media

  1. Design high-quality visual assets for social media, including posts, carousels, stories, and campaign graphics.
  2. Create marketing materials, including digital ads, flyers, brochures, presentations, and promotional assets.
  3. Develop visual content that aligns with campaign messaging, themes, and brand identity.
  4. Produce short-form and motion-based content, including simple animations or video edits for social platforms.
  5. Apply current design trends and platform best practices to maximize engagement and performance.

Content & Campaign Support

  1. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative assets for campaigns, events, and product promotions.
  2. Translate marketing strategies and written content into visually compelling designs.
  3. Support high-volume content production for campaigns, ensuring consistency and timely delivery.
  4. Maintain organized design files and asset libraries for efficient reuse and consistency.

Branding & Quality Control

  1. Ensure all visual content adheres to brand standards, tone, and visual identity.
  2. Review and refine designs based on feedback while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  3. Contribute to the evolution of visual style and brand presence across platforms.

Website Support

  1. Assist with updating website content, graphics, and layouts as needed using WordPress.
  2. Support landing page visuals and ensure design consistency between web and marketing channels.

Collaboration & Execution

  1. Work collaboratively with marketing, communications, and program teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.
  2. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Perform other duties as assigned to support marketing and organizational goals.
