Part Time LPN

Polk County Jail | Columbus, NC
Part Time | Every Friday | 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
PRN Opportunities Available for Additional Hours

Looking for a part-time nursing opportunity that gives you a dependable schedule and meaningful work? Southern Health Partners is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-focused care at the Polk County Jail in North Carolina.

This position offers a consistent shift every Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Nurses who are interested in picking up additional shifts may also have the opportunity to work PRN hours based on facility needs and availability.

In correctional healthcare, every shift brings the opportunity to make a difference. You’ll provide essential nursing care in a structured environment while working as part of a team that values professionalism, compassion, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina
  • Current CPR certification
  • One year of experience as an LPN preferred
  • Correctional healthcare experience is not required
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team
  • Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-employment screening and facility credentialing requirements
