Job description

Meta is seeking an experienced Regional Logistics Operations Specialist to support site services and technical logistics operations across a portfolio of data center and infrastructure sites. In this role, you will oversee third-party logistics providers, drive process standardization, and ensure inventory accuracy and compliance across regional locations. You will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics workflows, support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements, and deliver consistent operational performance aligned to Meta's data center supply chain standards.
Regional Logistics Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Possess technical and operational logistics knowledge with understanding of the life cycle of data center logistics or supply chain operations and execution, as well as related tools and systems
  • Ability to holistically assess a complex set of internal IBS systems and tools
  • Ability to utilize data analytics to drive improvements and monitor success across the region
  • Ability to integrate cross-functional team tools and contribute to a holistic roadmap
  • Articulate and lead technical discussions across the region and be a subject matter expert with strategic influence and implications
  • Support requirements and drives development of aggressive roadmaps to meet the needs of the team, and partner teams
  • Operate in a rapidly evolving, often ambiguous environment, the ability to process new information and re-prioritize as needed
  • Work directly with leaders and teams to help guide and influence complex logistics networks and operations for the regional teams, with a global impact in mind
  • Partner closely with upstream teams on compliance, regulatory, and policy requirements to ensure that we minimize risk while scaling our operations
  • Follow current trends, their impact on business strategies, and their implications for creating sustainable and scalable operations models
  • 30% travel required

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations management, business management and/or any other business-related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience handling project management responsibilities (prioritization, planning, scheduling, status reporting)
  • Experience with Oracle/ERP systems, MS Office suite, WMS, TMS, and supply chain tools
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain
  • Experience in SOX compliance
  • Experience in identifying process gaps and engineering scalable processes for distribution across regional data center operations
  • Strong communication and relationship skills, creative problem-solving, attention to detail, interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
