This position plays a direct role in meeting production schedules, quality standards, and labor expectations. The Fabricator is expected to perform work safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work area, identifying issues early, and coordinating with the Fabrication Team Lead and other production team members as needed.

  • Inspect completed work before release to the next stage of production to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Use labor, materials, tools, and equipment responsibly to complete work within expected timeframes.
  • Help minimize scrap, rework, and material waste through careful workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Identify and communicate drawing discrepancies, missing information, material shortages, or production issues promptly.
  • Assist with moving, staging, loading, unloading, and storing materials as needed to support shop workflow.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Fabrication Team Lead and other production team members regarding job status and support needs.

  • Ability to use tape measures, squares, levels, and other common measuring tools accurately.
  • Ability to safely operate common fabrication tools and equipment, including welding equipment, grinders, saws, drills, and other shop tools.
  • Experience working with aluminum, steel, and other fabrication materials preferred.
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, workmanship, safety, and production quality.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while contributing effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
