Job description


As an HTF Analytical Inspector Level 2 FAA here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through detailed analytical inspection and testing. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high standards of product performance and compliance with industry regulations.
You will report directly to our Inspection Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on an on-site work schedule. Day Shift 0530-1400 M-F
In this role, you will impact product quality assurance and customer satisfaction by performing precise inspections and analyses that support manufacturing and engineering teams in delivering reliable and safe products.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform detailed analytical inspections and testing of Honeywell products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Document inspection results accurately and report any deviations or non-conformances to the quality team.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify root causes of quality issues and support corrective actions.
  • Maintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration is up to date.
  • Follow established safety and quality protocols during all inspection activities.

FAA REQUIREMENTS:
All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Proven experience in analytical inspection or quality control within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, analytical instruments, and quality assurance processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards accurately.
  • Experience with inspection documentation and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations relevant to the industry.
