Hyve Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven Failure Analysis Technician with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to manufacturing and customer service teams, replicating and troubleshooting field failures.
  • Drive technical issues to closure by working with internal and field engineers to identify, track, root cause, and resolve issues.
  • Perform PCBA-level troubleshooting and component-level FA to identify root causes of hardware failures.
  • Use diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, thermal imaging cameras, X-ray, and others.
  • Troubleshot power delivery issues, signal integrity problems, and component defects on hyperscale servers.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal teams in support of overall company objectives.

Education and Work Experience:

  • One year of equivalent industry experience.
  • BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science is a plus.

Job Complexity and Supervision:

  • Works on problems of moderate scope.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving business and team environment
  • Excellent communication skills-written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and process.
  • Self-starter and highly motivated.

Physical Demands:

  • Extensive use of computer equipment, and frequent telephone activity.
  • Periods of extended sitting, walking, and standing are required.
  • Activities such as bending and occasionally lifting to 40 pounds.
  • Employees must be physically capable of completing and satisfying all training requirements as stipulated by Company policy.
