Job Title: Registered Nurse First Assistant

Profession: Registered Nurse

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10

Experience: Minimum 2 years required, travel experience required

License: CA RN License

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CNOR, CRNFA

Must-Have: Ability to work 2 weekends per month, Will split call with other RNFA staff

Description: Local guidelines differ. Traveler must be credentialed. This process requires an application to be completed once the offer is accepted. This process may take several weeks. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, CNOR, and CRNFA. Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience. Call will be shared with other RNFA staff. This position offers a varied surgical experience including procedures such as abdominal hysterectomies, amputations, and general surgery. Candidates will support patients of all age groups. The daily inpatient census is between 8 to 12 patients. The unit has a total of 4 operating rooms. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Candidates must provide accurate work history information for the past 7 years. A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed per contract. Some holiday time off requests are permitted.
