F5, Inc. seeks Site Reliability Engineer I in San Jose, CA:
Job Duties: Develop tooling processes to make sure F5 services are highly available, scalable and highly performant. Design and deliver infrastructure solutions that will help build, deploy and handle the service components of the platform. Remediate security vulnerabilities in our services, platform on regular basis. Manage production environment by monitoring availability and alerts and promptly remediate any issues that arise in production environment. Investigate various open source and proprietary technologies, components, libraries, tools etc. and help build a highly available, highly scalable and easily manageable systems. Partner with development teams to improve services on an ongoing basis. Participate in on-call rotation. Part-time telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or a related quantitative discipline and or one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) AWS; (2) GCP; (3) Azure; (4) Docker; (5) Kubernetes; (6) Kafka; (7) MySQL; (8) Prometheus; (9) Grafana; (10) Elasticsearch; (11) Golang; (12) Python. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Part-time telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $153,962 - $156,000 per annum.
