Job description

Salary Range: $109,058 - $141,775

This position is 100% On-Site or Hybrid per HRT Telecommuting Policy.
Essential Job Functions:
(Duties listed are not intended to be all inclusive nor to limit duties that might reasonably be assigned.)
  • Manage all levels of system administration support for all Dynamics 365 environments.
  • Manage release management and change management processes for Dynamics 365
  • Manage upgrade/update support.
  • Coordinate and perform database refreshes.
  • Monitor and communicate maintenance notifications.
  • Monitor performance Dynamics 365 environments.
  • Deploy and manage developer environments.
  • Assist to maintain and test system configurations and workflows.
  • Manage and maintain system integrations to other internal and external systems.
  • Assist to maintain software licenses, user access and security roles.
  • Provide as needed support for troubleshooting and remediation of technical issues.
  • Manage and coordinate with Microsoft through to resolution raised system issues.
  • Assist with administrative support for other ERP systems.
  • Assist with development and reporting efforts in Dynamics 365.
    • Work with functional and technical teams to understand and gather requirements to design and develop modifications and extensions to Microsoft Dynamics.
    • Use of Microsoft Dynamics development and reporting tools to design, develop and test customizations, integrations, and reports.
    • Create requested documentation supporting system design, development, and testing.
  • Perform maintenance and development work in a manner that is consistent with company standards and procedures.
  • Other related tasks to ensure on-going secure and supported system.
  • Manage records created and received in compliance with the Hampton Roads Transit Records Management Policies and Procedures.
  • Performs all other related duties as required.

Required Software Knowledge and Skills Essential to Job Functions:
  • Technical experience in D365 Systems Administration and Configuration
  • Technical functional knowledge in one or more of following areas: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Fixed Assets or Inventory
  • Ability to logically troubleshoot technical problems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaboration, analytical, and teamwork skills. Demonstrated ability working in a collaborative and transparent environment
  • Ability to mentor team members and transfer knowledge to others
  • Must be technically and functionally oriented (good problem solving and troubleshooting skills), excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), self-motivated, self-directed, good multi-tasking skills, quality oriented, flexible, and committed to successful on-time completion of tasks

Training and/or Education:
BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems or Related Technical Field
Required Experience:
  • 4+ combined years' experience as Microsoft Dynamics System Administrator on AX 2012 and D365
  • 3+ years of proven expertise in system auditing
  • 3+ years' experience with set-up and managing integrations with Microsoft's Recurring Integration Scheduler
  • 3+ years' experience with printer configuration D365
  • 3+ years of proven expertise in user authentication, user authorization and data security
  • 2+ years proven knowledge and experience with user roles and Security in AX / D365
  • 3+ years of proven expertise customizing Microsoft Dynamics. Including 1+ years of development experience on AX 2012 and/or D365 with Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • 3+ years creation and maintenance of various AIF Services for Microsoft Dynamics Integration with minimum 2 year on AX 2012 and/or D365.
  • 3+ years proven experience creating and updating custom reports in utilizing the following reporting tools: Management Reporter, BI Cubes, SQL Server Report Builder, other available tools.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics Workflow.
  • 2+ years proven experience creating and modifying forms with SSRS
  • 4+ Superior Technical proficiency with SQL for reviewing data, troubleshooting, developing user reports, and testing/validating source system data
  • 2+ years of technical experience with .NET C#, X++ or other OOP programming language

Possess a valid Driver's License. Acquire a Virginia Driver's License within 60 days after the date of hire (in instances when an out of state license is not the applicant's current state of residence).
