Job description

Summary:
The F&B Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring maximum customer service and satisfaction by maintaining high standards of food quality and service based on Company Standards. They oversee and coordinate the daily operational requirements of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring efficient and profitable operations. They also supervise the sale of food and beverage items and uphold the company's drug-free, tobacco-free, and nicotine-free policies.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets by Company Standards.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and service, consistently delivering an outstanding dining experience to guests.
  • Supervise and support the food and beverage sales process, optimizing revenue and profitability.
  • Train and motivate staff to exceed goals, providing guidance and coaching to maintain service excellence.
  • Monitor and control food costs and stock levels, implementing strategies to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to proper safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure smooth interdepartmental communication and cooperation.
  • Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of food & beverage supervisory or management experience in a hotel, restaurant, or banquet environment.
  • Experience working in high-volume food & beverage operations.
  • Experience with multi-outlet F&B operations is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
  • Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift to oversee operations effectively.
  • Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
