Pre Op PACU RN at Eye Surgery Center of Nashville

The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient’s condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications
  • We are seeking a candidate who is willing to cross‑train to circulate as well as work in both pre‑op and post‑op areas.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
  • Must have current BLS, ALS
  • Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
