Eye Candy Beauty values client education, comfort, and trust, and emphasizes consistent results and excellent service. Team members are encouraged to stay current with industry trends and techniques to offer modern, reliable beauty solutions.

Role Description The Licensed Esthetician role at Eye Candy Beauty is a part-time, on-site position based in Ridgeland, SC. The esthetician will perform professional services, including lash extensions, skin treatments, body waxing, and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing booked services, maintaining a clean and hygienic treatment space, and following all safety and sanitation protocols, as well as client interaction and checkout processes. The role involves providing attentive customer service, educating clients on aftercare and home routines, and supporting sales of products and services. The esthetician will also collaborate with the team, manage appointments, and contribute to a positive, client-centered studio atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Express Skin Treatments including sonic smooth and chemical peels.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Hair Removal techniques, such as waxing, sugaring, or threading, with careful attention to safety and comfort.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Lash and Brow services, like extensions, perming, and tints.
  • Candidates should possess solid Customer Service abilities, including clear communication, active listening, and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Candidates should possess Sales skills, including recommending services and products aligned with client needs and studio standards.
  • Valid state esthetician license in South Carolina, or eligibility to obtain one before start date.
  • Knowledge of sanitation, infection control, and relevant health regulations in a spa or studio environment.
  • Ability to sit/stand for extended periods, manage a steady appointment schedule, and work some evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Experience is preferred and beneficial, but Eye Candy Beauty is willing to hire and train the right candidate.
