Plastic Extrusion Tooling & Die Designer Engineer - Mentor, Ohio - JOB 26-00288 Salary Range: $65K - $110K Permanent Position with Benefits. Mentor, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire a Plastic Extrusion Tooling & Die Designer or Engineer for plastic extrusion tooling & die design & development. REQUIREMENTS High School Graduate (Associate or Bachelor degree preferred) 4+ years' experience with extrusion designing tooling for plastic extrusion to include Rigid PVC, Flexible PVC, ABS, ASA, HDPE, LDPE, PP, TPRs/TPOs, PC and other engineered resins.

CAD experience is required Must be able to troubleshoot existing tooling as well as Familiar with operate die grinders, milling machines and lathes to modify existing and new tooling for single screw extrusion machines Familiar with vacuum sizing techniques Day shift with occasional weekend work as needed Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen. Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
