Job description

Seeking an experienced Oracle OBIEE / OAS Data Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle Analytics Server, Oracle Database, SQL/PL/SQL, ETL, and Data Warehousing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing analytics solutions, dashboards, reports, data models, and ETL processes while ensuring high performance and data quality.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle OBIEE / Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) reports, dashboards, analyses, and BI Publisher solutions.
  • Design and maintain RPD (Repository) models, including physical, logical, and presentation layers.
  • Develop complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, procedures, functions, and data processing solutions.
  • Build and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading using tools such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), OWB, Alteryx, or Informatica.
  • Design and implement Data Warehouse solutions, including dimensional models using Star and Snowflake schemas.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Perform performance tuning of OBIEE/OAS reports, SQL queries, dashboards, and ETL processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reporting, data integration, database performance, and analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle OBIEE / Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
  • Strong experience with Oracle Database 19c/12c.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Strong experience with RPD development, Analyses, Dashboards, BI Publisher, and Agents.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as ODI, OWB, Alteryx, or Informatica.
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Dimensional Modeling, and Data Integration.
  • Experience with Star Schema and Snowflake Schema design.
  • Strong knowledge of performance tuning for OBIEE/OAS reports, SQL queries, and ETL processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle Business Intelligence certification is preferred but not required.
  • Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with enterprise-scale BI and data warehouse environments is a plus.
