Sartell Middle School 7th and 8th Grade Fall Musical - Lighting/Sound
Job Description:
Works with a group of students to:


  • Know the show
  • Design the show by setting the mood and tone of the show
  • Set lights
  • Focus lights
  • See light cues
  • Create Prompt Book for the booth
  • Maintain lighting and sound equipment
  • Buy batteries, bulbs, and mic tape
  • Teach students proper care and usage of microphones
  • Organize storage, sound checks, and mic levels
  • Teach students how to operate sound board, light board, and spotlights
  • Responsible for on the spot problem solving
  • Work with Music Director on running music tracks for the show
  • Find and program all sound effects for the show
  • Return everything to preset at Strike including proper microphone storage and coordinating with the Costume Designer to wash the mic belts


Pay Schedule: Based on Extra-Curricular, Co-Curricular and Other Activity Assignments Schedule
