Communications Intern

Musco is looking for a Communications Intern. A Communications Intern is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of clear, engaging internal and external communications. This role helps research, write, and produce content for channels such as the Musco Intranet, team events, and internship program communications. The intern also contributes to visual content, including simple graphics, videos, and other materials that support Muscos brand and team-first culture. Through hands-on projects and cross-functional collaboration, this position provides meaningful experience in communications while helping share Musco stories with team members and community. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you!

Essential Criteria:

  • Sophomore or Junior Pursuing a bachelors degree in journalism & mass communications, public relations, advertising, marketing, content development.
  • Previous internship experience is helpful.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively.
  • Experience developing simple graphics and photo editing.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to follow directions and ask questions.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Self-motivated and the ability to multitask.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop cross-functional relationships and learn about Musco.
  • Research and write/produce internal content for the Musco Intranet.
  • Create infographics, videos, and other visual content for internal and external communications.
  • Support the overall Musco internship program by promoting and co-hosting Intern events and developing content to promote the internship program.
  • Support communication and delivery of Musco Team events and our involvement in external events.

Duration: Summer 2027 - Late May through mid August

Job Specifications

  • Flexible availability, including some night, weekend, and variable hours
