Job description

THE JOB / Operations Manager

This position will report to our Senior Director of Operations and work with the entire Playboy organization (Brand and Marketing, Print & Digital, Licensing, Legal, Finance & Accounting, and People Operations), as well as our external partners, collaborating with stakeholders to help project manage, coordinate people and resources, create and refine processes, ensure compliance, track all progress & status, and ensure timely delivery dates. You will be responsible for supporting the project management of these day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, alignment with strategic vision, and legal compliance, including but not limited to, contracts and agreements for all content productions, writers, agents, photographers, models and vendors. 


What You’ll Do - Job Responsibilities

  • Support daily business operations across editorial, digital content, marketing, events, and brand partnerships

  • Help develop and implement operational systems, processes, and standard operating procedures

  • Manage project timelines and resource allocation for campaigns, product launches, and events

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including creative, marketing, production, and external partners

  • Track and manage departmental budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships

  • Establish and monitor KPIs related to content output, audience growth, operational efficiency, and revenue support

  • Improve workflows using project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Notion, Airtable)

  • Ensure compliance with legal, licensing, and brand guidelines

  • Support leadership with operational reporting and forecasting

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, editorial, digital, and sales teams

What You’ll Bring - Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Media Management, or related field (preferred)

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, project management, or media/lifestyle environments

  • Experience working in digital media, publishing, lifestyle brands, or creative industries

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Strong understanding of digital media production cycles, brand collaborations, and content workflows

  • Experience working with cross-functional creative and corporate teams

  • Ability to create and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, creative environment
