Job description

The External Logistics Senior Control Analyst is responsible for validating control execution, ensuring analytical quality, and enforcing governance across all External Logistics core processes. These processes include, but are not limited to: Customs Control (Import/Export), Cost Control, Process Control, Data Integrity & Development Control, and other compliance driven initiatives. Serving as the primary analytical and operational validation layer between Control Analysts and the External Logistics Risk Management Manager, this role ensures that controls are not only designed and documented, but also consistently executed, evidence based, data reliable, and fully defensible during regulatory, audit, and leadership review. The Senior Control Analyst supports long term governance stability by strengthening execution discipline, preserving institutional knowledge, and reducing reliance on individual capacity as a compensating control.

*For consideration, all candidates must apply through our online career portal. We kindly ask that you do not send applications or resumes via email.

*This position is not eligible for sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities
  • Validate execution of controls across all External Logistics core processes.
  • Confirm controls are executed effectively, properly evidenced, and not only documented.
  • Serve as the senior analytical quality gate for all control outputs.
  • Review and validate analytical inputs, assumptions, methodologies, and conclusions produced by Control Analysts.
  • Identify gaps in control execution, data integrity, and procedural adherence; require corrective action and propose solutions.
  • Validate reliability and appropriateness of data sources used in analysis and reporting.
  • Consolidate outputs across Cost, Customs, Process, and Data Integrity control areas into coherent, audit ready control narratives.
  • Act as an integration point across concurrent projects and compliance categories.
  • Convert analytical outputs into decision ready insights for the External Logistics Risk Management Manager.
  • Support development and validation of dashboards, metrics, and reporting structures.
  • Ensure analytical outputs are complete, accurate, and defensible for regulatory and audit review.
  • Escalate recurring non conformance patterns, execution failures, or inconsistencies.
  • Reduce rework and correction cycles, minimizing reliance on ad hoc management intervention.
  • Coordinate with Core Process Control Analysts to strengthen control execution maturity.
  • Preserve institutional knowledge and ensure continuity through analyst and intern turnover.
Competencies
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Analytics, Compliance, or related field with 5-8 years of experience or equivalent combination of education. Experience with Logistics, customs, trade, manufacturing, or regulated industry preferred.
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 40% of the time.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license and passport.
