Job Description Facilities Maintenance Tech Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | First Shift 7-4 Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Cincinnati, Ohio, that's expanding its Manufacturing team. Position Summary We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, safety, and overall appearance of company facilities. This hands-on role is responsible for performing routine building maintenance, coordinating repairs, supporting preventative maintenance activities, and ensuring a clean, safe, and functional work environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and enjoys a variety of facility maintenance responsibilities in both indoor and outdoor environments. Key Responsibilities Perform daily inspections of interior and exterior facility areas to identify maintenance and safety concerns. Monitor the cleanliness and condition of offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.

Communicate maintenance needs and repair recommendations to the Facilities Maintenance Director. Manage inventory levels and order janitorial, maintenance, and facility supplies as needed. Replace lighting fixtures and lamps using ladders, scaffolding, boom lifts, or scissor lifts.

Conduct routine safety inspections of emergency equipment and building systems. Coordinate HVAC maintenance and repairs with outside service contractors. Transport refuse and recycling containers and support facility cleanliness initiatives.

Perform weekly inspections of plumbing fixtures and report or complete necessary repairs. Complete minor building repairs, including patching and painting office interiors. Assist with seasonal facility maintenance, including snow removal and salting of walkways.

Install cabinets, shelving, marker boards, office fixtures, and other building equipment. Operate maintenance equipment and perform general building maintenance tasks as assigned. Follow established safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications Working knowledge of general building maintenance processes and repair methods. Basic understanding of HVAC systems and facility maintenance operations. Ability to operate or learn forklifts and other motorized equipment.

Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments. Flexible and adaptable with the ability to manage changing priorities.

Understanding of workplace safety procedures, equipment, and best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, bend, twist, and perform physically demanding maintenance activities. Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds. Comfortable climbing ladders and stairs and working at heights up to 35 feet using boom lifts or scissor lifts.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Capable of standing, walking, and performing manual tasks for extended periods throughout the workday. Ideal Candidate Profile Hands-on maintenance professional with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
