Our Express Service Technician will be responsible for servicing vehicles as assigned by our service advisors.
The Express Technician checks and changes the engine oil/filter; checks tire pressure and condition, filters, windshield wiper fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, transmission and differential fluids, and engine coolant. He/She will know how to top off or replace these fluids and maintenance-related parts as required.
The ideal Express Technician has an unrestricted driver's license, clean driving record, a minimum of one year of vehicle servicing experience, an aptitude and interest in vehicle maintenance, and strong analytical and communication skills.
Some Additional Duties May Include:
  • Assure that the stock is correct if we are stocking parts in the Quick Service Lane.
  • Assure that the parts are charged out accordingly on the repair order, and that parts are secured.
  • Quality check vehicles as necessary.
  • Assure that all vehicles have the maintenance minder reset prior to the guest taking the vehicle.
  • Expedite work through the shop during peak times.
  • Report any issues with vehicle lifts, air-lines, or any equipment malfunctions to the service manager immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • One year lube tech experience.
