Assistant Service Manager – Baton Rouge

$85,000 - $95,000 a year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, plus every 3rd Saturday

Express Employment Professionals – Downtown Baton Rouge is seeking an Assistant Service Manager for a locally owned and operated car dealership in East Baton Rouge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and high integrity to join a reputable team.

Core Responsibilities:
    • Assist in managing the daily operations of the service department.
    • Lead, coach, and motivate employees to achieve performance goals.
    • Ensure excellent customer service and customer satisfaction at all times.
    • Monitor workflow and identify bottlenecks, delays, or inefficiencies.
    • Expedite customer service processes to improve turnaround times and overall experience.
    • Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues effectively.
    • Maintain clear communication between customers, advisors, technicians, and management.
    • Monitor department productivity and help implement process improvements.
    • Support staffing, scheduling, and team development efforts.
    • Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
    • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed consistently.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Previous management or leadership experience.
