Job Title: Logistics Export Clerk

Job Description

The Logistics Export Clerk coordinates outbound transportation and manages end-to-end export activities from U.S. distribution centers and vendors, ensuring every shipment complies with U.S. export regulations and internal standards. This role focuses on planning and executing international shipments, monitoring their progress, and resolving issues that may affect delivery timelines. The specialist prepares, validates, and maintains all export documentation, ensuring data accuracy across systems and supporting audit readiness. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate outbound transportation for international shipments from U.S. distribution centers and vendors, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to schedule, plan, and manage shipments in alignment with customer requirements and internal standards.
  • Prepare, validate, and maintain all export documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. export regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor shipment progress end-to-end, proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact delivery timelines or service levels.
  • Ensure data accuracy across logistics systems and export documentation, supporting traceability and audit readiness.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to align shipment priorities, address exceptions, and communicate status updates clearly and promptly.
  • Support compliance audits and regulatory reviews by providing accurate documentation, reports, and shipment records.
  • Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and logistics platforms to manage shipments, track performance, and optimize routing where applicable.
  • Use Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications to maintain reports, analyze shipment data, and support operational decision-making.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance export documentation accuracy, shipment efficiency, and overall operational excellence.
  • Apply strong organizational skills to manage multiple shipments simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Support inventory-related logistics activities by coordinating shipment timing and documentation to align with inventory needs.
  • Deliver responsive and professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing logistics-related inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Leverage familiarity with logistics KPIs and operational reporting to support performance tracking and continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in transportation coordination, logistics, or export documentation.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. export documentation and shipping processes.
  • Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and logistics platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously in a high-volume environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interaction with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
  • Experience in export logistics, outbound transportation, or global supply chain operations.
  • Customer service orientation when supporting internal and external stakeholders.

  • Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Experience supporting compliance audits or regulatory reviews.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret logistics data and operational reports.
  • Familiarity with logistics KPIs and operational reporting practices.
  • Experience working in high-volume logistics or supply chain environments.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The role operates in a fast-paced, globally connected logistics environment where daily activities center around managing international shipments, export documentation, and coordination with carriers and vendors. You will work extensively with Transportation Management Systems, logistics platforms, and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, to support shipment execution and reporting. The environment offers structured workflows, clear processes, and strong exposure to global supply chain operations, export compliance standards, and cross-functional collaboration. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
