Scope of Position: Coordinating the smooth cargo and documentation release based on established criteria and system. Person will be a full charge export coordinator for all U.S. Branches.

Job Requirements: Major duties and responsibilities:

Export

  • Coordinate Bookings with carriers
  • Obtain competitive rates for export / report to sales.
  • Set up Delivery and coordination of loading at Shipper's appointed site.
  • Track and trace shipments - keeping customers well informed of any / all changes.
  • File ACE timely and any other necessary government documentation required based on commodity.
  • Maintain documentation and records according to established company protocol. - Paperless environment.
  • Facilitate all aspects of exporting of cargo as necessary

A minimum of 3 years experience in ocean transportation and knowledge of shipping documentation is required. Soft Skill set: Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to work under pressure and fast pace.

Hard Skill Set: Computer knowledge at user level - Use and familiarity of Microsoft Office suite products (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel) Learn and navigate our proprietary software. Track and trace ability with internet.
