Position Summary
The Expo is responsible for coordinating the flow of food from the kitchen to the guest, ensuring every order is accurate, beautifully presented, and meets Olive & Finch standards. This role performs all FOH Crew responsibilities and leads the expo station, verifying kitchen output against build guides, assembling to-go and catering orders, and communicating with the BOH team to maintain smooth service. As a Crew Level 3 position, the Expo is key to quality control and overall guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all FOH Crew responsibilities including greeting guests, bussing tables, running food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
  • Lead the expo station during service, ensuring it is fully stocked, organized, and running efficiently.
  • Verify that food coming out of the kitchen matches Olive & Finch build guides for accuracy and presentation.
  • Assemble and check all to-go and catering orders for completeness and quality before they leave the restaurant.
  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to ensure timing, accuracy, and smooth ticket flow.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo station throughout the shift.
  • Work closely with FOH and BOH teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.
  • Always Uphold Olive & Finch service and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a restaurant expo or food-running role preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating between FOH and BOH teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and composure.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
