Job description

Job Title: Explosive Ordnance Disposal SME
Location: Fort Bragg, NC
Overview:
SkyBridge Tactical is seeking a highly motivated Explosive Ordnance Disposal SME with strong experience in support of USSOCOM.
This Position is Contingent upon Contract Award to SkyBridge Tactical LLC
Responsibilities:
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal SME’s Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assists the SGM and Deputy for CP as the EOD SME working in collaboration with government partners, academic laboratories, and private industry - to develop new tools and technology in support of the SOF explosive ordnance disposal community. Tasks include project management, evaluation of commercial technology, attending technical reviews and demonstrations for prototype assessment, and establishing acquisition strategies.
  • Assists in the preparation and development of new requirements documentation to include Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD), Capabilities Development Documents (CDD), SPECAT messages, Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP), Test Plans, and update Project Folders.
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualifications include a background in EOD (particularly SOF) or engineering with a knowledge of EOD techniques, tactics, and procedures.
  • Have knowledge in areas supported by the specified subject area to support product selection, architecture, system design, engineering, intelligence systems, security and other technical, operational, and analytical disciplines to include reliability, maintainability and life cycle cost management.
  • Bachelor or Masters Degree
  • Minimum of 16 Years of Experience
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex government contract requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with proposal management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
