What You'll Do
As a Quality Lab Tech, you will participate and assist with day to day laboratory operations by perform inspections of the final product and inspection equipment in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations
  • Live and foster the Dyno Nobel corporate values
  • Provide laboratory support to plant operations.
  • Provide document control support for all lab operations
  • Understand work pace and shipping deadlines.
  • Report abnormal test results to the appropriate management personnel
  • Place product on hold and request resampling
  • Reject product that is out of tolerance.
  • Ensure all information provided is accurate and timely.

What We're Looking For:
  • Associates degree in Chemistry, Science, or related field desired
  • Manufacturing experience a plus
  • 2+ years laboratory experience desired
  • Must possess strong analytical skills
  • Strong computer application skills
  • Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
