BLUEHAWK is seeking an Exploitation Specialist (Data Scientist) - Junior to support mission-critical analytic and data exploitation efforts at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for junior professionals or recent STEM graduates looking to launch their careers within the Intelligence Community while working alongside cutting-edge technologies and mission-focused teams.

This role supports GEOINT-focused operations and requires individuals who are analytical, technically skilled, and eager to learn in a fast-paced mission environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support data exploitation and analytic efforts for mission-focused GEOINT operations
  • Develop and enhance data-driven analytic methodologies
  • Work with structured and unstructured datasets to support operational intelligence needs
  • Collaborate with technical and analytic teams to build scalable data solutions
  • Leverage Python and SQL to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data
  • Contribute to mission innovation and emerging analytic capabilities within the IC
Qualifications
  • Candidates must meet one of the following GEO-SPI Junior qualification pathways:
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to undergo a CI Polygraph
  • Ability to work onsite in Springfield, VA, 40 hours per week (no telework available)
  • Proficiency with Python
  • Intermediate SQL skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic mission requirements and learn new technologies quickly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of GEOINT collection and NGA/NRO systems
  • Experience with visualization platforms such as Grafana, Tableau, or Kibana
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with object-oriented programming methodologies
  • Experience developing or testing analytic methodologies and workflows
