Location: Huntsville, AL

Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide advanced technical knowledge, analysis, and guidance in support of specialized applications and operational environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation for exceptionally complex problems requiring specialized knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level technical knowledge, analysis, and recommendations on highly specialized IT applications and environments.

  • Support high-level functional systems analysis, design, and integration efforts.

  • Deliver implementation advice and solutions for complex challenges requiring advanced subject matter expertise.

  • Participate in all phases of development, with emphasis on planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation.

  • Develop and maintain thorough system documentation, technical reports, and briefings.

  • Advise stakeholders and leadership on technical risks, opportunities, and best practices.

  • Stay current on emerging technologies, trends, and applications to enhance mission effectiveness.

  • Specialize in particular software, systems, or business applications used in end-user environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).

  • 10+ years of experience in IT systems analysis, integration, or specialized application support.

  • Demonstrated expertise in analyzing and implementing complex IT solutions.

  • Strong background in systems development life cycle (SDLC) processes.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.

  • Active Top Secret security clearance (required).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in DoD or government IT environments.

  • Advanced certifications in relevant technologies or systems.

  • Proven ability to work across interdisciplinary teams and high-level stakeholders.

CULTURE REQUIREMENTS

  • Engineers, Analysts, and Developers at Cintel, Inc. are highly motivated, technical, and self-organized. We place a lot of trust in our team members to develop technical solutions for ill-defined problems (i.e. thrive in an environment where the problem is vague, requirements are lacking, and a solution is not obvious). We need problem solvers.

  • We want our team members to be self-motivated and eager to learn new skills. If you consider yourself a jack-of-all-trades, and are eager to keep up with the latest trends in technology, you'll fit right in.
