Drywall Finisher / Painter
Immediate Hiring | Full-Time | Competitive Pay

PuroClean is a growing restoration contractor specializing in repairing residential and commercial properties damaged by water and fire. We're looking for an experienced Drywall Finisher / Painter who takes pride in producing seamless, high-quality work. If you have expert drywall finishing skills and can match existing textures so repairs become virtually invisible, we'd like to hear from you.

Our office is located in Caseyville, IL, and we serve customers throughout the greater St. Louis metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and finish drywall after water and fire damage
  • Tape, mud, float, sand, and finish drywall to a smooth surface
  • Match existing wall and ceiling textures with seamless transitions
  • Prime and paint repaired areas for a professional finish
  • Perform clean, straight paint cut-ins around ceilings, trim, and walls
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
  • Complete work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards

Qualifications

  • Experience in drywall repair, finishing, texture matching, and painting
  • Ability to float drywall seams so repairs are not visible after painting
  • Skilled in matching knockdown, orange peel, skip trowel, and other common textures
  • Excellent interior painting skills with clean cut-ins
  • Own the tools needed to perform drywall and painting work
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Basic carpentry, trim, or general construction experience is a plus
  • Able to pass a drug screening and background check (no felony convictions)
