Job description

Our client, an industry leader in the Oil and Gas industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented EPC Logistics Coordinator to join their team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the project operations team supporting logistics and materials management efforts to support large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: EPC Logistics Coordinator
Location: Baytown, TX
Pay Rate:$33/hr
Contract: 12 Months, potential to extend
What's the Job?
  • Manage the EPC's Logistics and Materials Management process on-site to ensure smooth execution.
  • Serve as the primary interface between the Logistics team, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) to coordinate logistics activities.
  • Support the development and monitoring of logistics KPIs, progress reporting, and materials management requirements.
  • Coordinate with logistics contractors and vendors worldwide to qualify, approve, and evaluate their capabilities.
  • Ensure timely issuance and tracking of Purchase Orders (POs), verifying delivery documentation and compliance with project schedules.

What's Needed?
  • 5 years of experience in logistics planning, execution, construction, safety, and procurement.
  • BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, proportions, and volumes.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to project sites as needed.
  • Strong understanding of logistics contractors' capabilities and local/national environmental and regulatory requirements.
