Job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join their team. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician

Location: Richmond, VA

Pay Range: $28.00-$32.00

Shift: 1st shift (6am - 6pm) - 2 openings 2nd shift (6pm - 6pm) - 2 openings

What's the Job?

  • Ensure safe and reliable operation of production electrical testing equipment
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance independently
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with minimal supervision
  • Identify equipment issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions
  • Accurately document maintenance work, downtime, and repairs in CMMS systems

What's Needed?

  • Degree in a related field, technical or vocational training with certification, or 5-8 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance and documenting work orders
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
