Total Bonus Opportunity for Registered Veterinary Technicians: $10,000!
This position is eligible for:
  • $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • $2,500 retention bonus at 12 months
  • $2,500 retention bonus at 24 months Subject to eligibility and bonus agreement terms.

Located in Culver City, ACCESS LA is a referral hospital with 24hour Emergency services, where our technicians encounter all sort of cases when working closely with some of the most qualified doctors in the country. Add that we have numerous specialty departments and it’s possible a tech’s day could involve a Macaw with a broken beak, time in one of our many advanced operating rooms, watching our Orthopedic Surgeons replace a dog’s elbow, or operating an MRI. It’s a long list of unique experiences best suited to those who absolutely love caring for sick or injured animals in a high-paced, renowned animal hospital.

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.  In the emergency department there is something new every day!

Role Responsibilities:  

  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients. 
  • With each hospital function, assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow. 
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with your state's Veterinary Practice Act outlined for credentialed veterinary technicians. 
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments. 
  • Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems. 
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts. 
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs. 
  • Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.

Licensed Technicians -$26/hr - $42/hr 
VTS - $43/hr - $45/hr
