Job Title: Live Haul Loader

Job Summary:
The Live Haul Loader is responsible for the proper chasing and loading of live turkeys into trailers while ensuring compliance with humane handling standards. This role focuses on minimizing condemn rates, maintaining efficiency, and supporting overall live haul operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Properly chase and load live turkeys into live haul trailers in accordance with humane handling policies
  • Follow all loading procedures to minimize condemn bird rates and ensure animal welfare standards are met
  • Start operations on time and work efficiently to reduce downtime
  • Maintain loading equipment and report any issues to leadership
  • Perform physically demanding tasks including bending, twisting, gripping, and lifting
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned by the Crew Lead, Supervisor, or Manager
  • Maintain consistent attendance and reliability
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs consistently
  • Must not own, possess, or maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl
  • Must maintain good attendance
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks including bending, twisting, and gripping
  • Ability to lift and handle live birds weighing up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
