Join Our Team of Veterinarians in Ventura and Santa Paula, California

We are seeking outstanding veterinarians to become part of our dedicated team of 12 doctors. Our organization is an AAHA accredited, forward-thinking general practice focused on the care of companion animals. We prioritize the training and development of our team members to meet their individual needs. Our friendly and compassionate staff embodies our mission: "To provide compassionate care for our Ohana - our Family," which encompasses our patients, clients, teammates, animal rescue partners, vendors, community, and environment. This mission fosters a familial atmosphere among both staff and clients. If interested, this position may transition to our new Urgent Care facility once you are fully integrated into our team and culture.

About Our Hospital
  • General medicine and surgical services for dogs and cats
  • Urgent care with same-day appointments and emergency services

Responsibilities of the Veterinarian
  • Full-time veterinarians will work 3-4 shifts weekly
  • Availability to work some Saturdays is required
  • General Practitioners will provide medical and surgical care for dogs and cats; experience with ultrasound and exotics is a plus
  • Urgent Care Practitioners will primarily handle same-day appointments and emergency cases, with the ability to perform surgery on uncomplicated emergencies such as gastrointestinal foreign bodies, urethral obstructions, abscesses, and laceration repairs

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, experience, and location. The provided range for this position is $135,000 - $165,000 annually. Individual compensation within this range will depend on work location and various factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
