Responsibilities

Looking for Software Engineers to work on a team focused on transforming the Property and Casualty (P&C) analytic user experience from fragmented to a seamless self-service workflow that enables users to discover P&C data instantly, understand context intuitively, and generate trusted insights independently—empowering P&C analytic users through a truly seamless experience. This team will deliver technical solutions including emerging technologies such as AI/ML to transform how we deliver the best experiences to consumers of P&C data assets and tools.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting data and software solutions that align with our objectives. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment to deliver high-quality capabilities. We are looking for individuals with strong problem-solving skills, a growth mindset, and a passion for leveraging emerging technologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• Possess an understanding of how technology solutions meet our data, engineering, and analytic consumer experience outcomes.
• Participate in sprint planning, providing work estimates to deliver capability stories and owning development stories.
• Exhibits DevOps and DataOps mindset where team is accountable for ensuring data aligns to team needs and leveraging automation to deliver quality data and software solutions.
• Complete required coding to satisfy acceptance criteria and deliver desired outcomes.
• Lead in solution design, considering risks, mitigations, performance, user experience, and testability.
• Participate in the full software development cycle, including coding, testing, implementation, support, and sunset.
• Design, develop, test, and support software in support of capability objectives.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software development experience
• Strong knowledge of Programming Language (ex: Python, React, Java etc.)
• Experienced with AWS services: such as RDS, S3, Lambda
• Experience with testing, including unit testing and integration testing
• Strong experience with observability, defect analysis and resolution
• Experience with building automated test suites (including code quality frameworks), integrating into CI/CD pipelines, working with containers and infrastructure /platform capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of system workflow design and architecture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git
• Exhibits DevOps mindset where the team is accountable for product from inception to sunset.
• Willingness to share knowledge with others to build a well-rounded team.
• Critical thinking skills to challenge current thinking and apply right technology to solve problems

  • Potential starting salary range: $85,500 - $150,000
    • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
