Job description

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Brokerage Auditor to join our team. The Brokerage Auditor will be responsible for examining and evaluating financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure compliance, and identifying areas for improvement in the brokerage operations. The basic function and purpose of the Auditor is to enhance the company’s ability to exercise “reasonable care,” under section 484 of the Tariff Act, (19 U.S.C. s1484), by verifying the accurate input of information on form 7501 by conducting regular self-audits.


**Qualifications:**
- 3+ years of experience in auditing, preferably in a brokerage firm or financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and principles.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform audits on brokerage operations to assess compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Identify and communicate areas of potential risk or non-compliance.
- Develop and implement audit procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure corrective actions are taken in response to audit findings.
