Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:

  • Provide exercise physiology services and consultations following established protocols for guests.
  • Conduct VO2 max testing, body composition measurements and the creation of exercise plans based medical and exercise physiology evaluations.
  • Provides operational leadership for the Performance Science team on property, partnering with the Health & Performance Director to optimize departmental performance, business operations, and resource utilization.
  • Formulates the optimal exercise experience for the individual guests for enhanced health and performance.
  • Provide quality lectures and participate in department meetings to include input into the development of new lectures and services.

  • Leads workshops, group presentations, and informal guest talks.

  • Supports promotion and visibility of the Health and Performance programs.


Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Wellness-focused background aligned with Canyon Ranch’s philosophy.

  • 5+ years industry experience with a current working knowledge of Exercise Physiology testing.

  • Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology required
