Job Summary B&A is seeking a Cloud Technology ISSE to lead cybersecurity engineering efforts for cloud-based, hybrid, and modernized enterprise systems. This role focuses on securing cloud environments, evaluating emerging technologies, and supporting federal modernization initiatives. The position ensures secure design, implementation, and continuous monitoring of cloud and next-generation systems within FBI cybersecurity frameworks. Responsibilities * Lead RMF implementation for cloud-based and hybrid information systems. * Oversee cybersecurity engineering teams supporting cloud and modernization initiatives. * Guide system categorization and cloud security control selection and implementation. * Ensure security assessments are conducted for cloud and emerging technology environments. * Support secure cloud architecture design and deployment oversight. * Evaluate and integrate new and emerging technologies into secure enterprise environments. * Maintain continuous monitoring and cloud security compliance activities. * Provide technical guidance on cloud risk management and cybersecurity best practices. * Develop risk documentation and support authorization decisions for cloud systems. * Brief leadership on cloud security posture, risks, and mitigation strategies
Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred). * 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or secure systems design. * Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or hybrid platforms). * Background in RMF, federal cybersecurity compliance, or enterprise security programs. * Experience with modernization, DevSecOps, or emerging technologies preferred
Required Skills * Strong understanding of cloud security architecture and controls. * Knowledge of NIST RMF and federal cybersecurity frameworks. * Experience with cloud-based risk assessment and compliance. * Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills. * Ability to assess emerging technologies and security impacts. * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
