HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Behavioral Health Practitioner within our Crisis Mobile Team in St Cloud is responsible for community-based mental health services to individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis. All practitioners work under the direction of a Mental Health Professional.
The duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Answer the mental health crisis line and provide phone intervention as well as triage for other needed referrals and services
  • Provide mobile outreach services in client's homes, the community, and/or in office
  • Complete assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Coordinate services with other programs and providers
  • Work collaboratively with a team of Behavioral Health Practitioners

Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner (MHP)

4,000 hours working with those with mental health, developmental disabilities, or chemical dependency diagnosis: which can be part- time over several years or 2 years full time.
Or
Holds a master's degree or another graduate degree in behavioral sciences or related fields.
Or
Holds a bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or related fields and completes a practicum or internship or employment that (1) requires direct interaction with adults or children served, and (2) is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields (2,000 hours).
  • Clear DHS background study
  • Valid Driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Completion of Agency provided CPR and Medication Training
