Exercise Physiologist

Located in beautiful Newberry County, SC, Newberry Health is a 90-bed, acute care, independent, not-for-profit hospital recognized with the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval. We are proud of our strong leadership, dedicated staff, and commitment to providing a high-quality care for our patients.

Job Summary

The Exercise Physiologist oversees treatment of patients in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. The Exercise Physiologist is competent to modify and instruct exercises for patients in the Cardiac Rehabilitation and/or Wellness program and may perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, or must obtain within 60 days of employment
  • Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certification required, or must obtain within 60 days of employment
  • CPR and previous Cardiac Rehab experience preferred
