Group Exercise Instructor $35-50/ Per Class
Atlanta Athletic Club is seeking a dynamic and passionate part-time Group Fitness Instructor to join our team. As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for leading engaging, safe, and effective group exercise classes. You will motivate participants, demonstrate proper techniques, and create an inclusive and positive environment while ensuring that all fitness principles and safety protocols are followed.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and instruct group exercise classes, ensuring safe and effective workout routines for participants of all fitness levels.
  • Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, including proper form, alignment, and modifications when necessary.
  • Create a motivating and inclusive environment to inspire and engage participants.
  • Provide clear, concise instruction and feedback to participants during classes.
  • Ensure adherence to all fitness and safety protocols in all sessions.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude, fostering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all participants.
  • Stay up to date with fitness trends, class formats, and industry best practices.
  • Adhere to all Atlanta Athletic Club policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Proven experience leading group exercise classes.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire participants in a group setting.
  • Knowledge of proper exercise techniques and modifications for different fitness levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current certification in group fitness instruction (e.g., ACE, NASM, AFAA).
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong passion for fitness and helping others achieve their health and wellness goals.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals and adapt to varying fitness needs.
  • Additional fitness certifications or specializations a plus (e.g., Yoga, Pilates, Strength Training, HIIT).
  • Prior experience teaching at a fitness club or similar setting preferred.
