Job description

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an Exercise Physiologist to join our team on a Per-Diem basis in our Cardiac Rehab department.
The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for supervising, monitoring and providing a safe exercise environment for Phase II/III Cardiac, SET for PAD, and Primary Prevention rehabilitation patients.
Essential Functions:
  • Provides appropriate evaluation for Phase 2 patients
  • Identifies problems and develops individualized exercise prescription (ITP) in accordance with ACSM/AACVPR guidelines and physician recommendations.
  • Ability to perform and accurately interpret resting and exercise EKG.
  • Provide treatment based on the treatment plan.
  • Educate patient and family regarding treatment plan and goals
  • Coordination of care

Position Requirements:
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred: Master's Degree
  • Certification: Current BLS certification. Prefer current ACLS certification.
  • Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills - Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, write a letter.

Work Shift:
  • Per-Diem
  • 2 shifts per month (if shifts are available)
