Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops, configures, and optimizes industrial welding processes from inception to start up using Lean concepts and processes.
  • Designs fixtures and devices to attain high quality outcomes.
  • Facilitates and participates in cross-functional process improvement and problem-solving kaizen events.
  • Applies engineering best practice to all work assignments and shares knowledge with other team members.
  • Assesses processes, takes measurements, and interprets data to make improvements.
  • Develops best practices, routines, and innovative welding solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
  • Performs welding process and design simulations and analysis.
  • Performs risk assessments using FMEA method.
  • Designs and conducts destructive and non-destructive testing.
  • Develops welding process documentation and standard operating instructions.
  • Responsible for maintenance of robot systems.
  • Trains operators to properly run robots.
  • Develop and improve programs PLC, Robot, CNC by using software to ensure efficient, cost-effective process cycles
  • Other duties as required.
