Our Crane Microwave division is renowned for its expertise in RF and microwave technologies, supporting critical missions with integrated microwave assemblies, GPS subsystems, and space-qualified components that are trusted by leading defense and aerospace original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).**Overview:**We’re looking for an experienced **RF Design Engineer Lead** to **architect and develop cutting-edge RF, Microwave, and Millimeter-Wave integrated solutions (IMAs)** for mission-critical defense and space systems. This is a hands-on engineering role with responsibility across proposal, design, prototyping, testing and production release—ideal for an engineer who enjoys technical depth and cross-functional collaboration.**What You'll Do:*** Architect and design end-to-end RF and mixed-signal systems (VHF to >40 GHz), including up/down converters, synthesizers, PLLs, mixers, filters, A/D converters and Digital architectures* Model and simulate RF system performance using advanced analytical tools* Support system integration, testing, and validation of high-reliability hardware for spaceflight and defense applications* Translate customer specifications into hardware architecture, design documentation, and product releases**What You Bring:*** 7+ years of experience in RF/microwave/mmWave design; strong grasp of RF systems architecture and circuit design* Familiarity with tools like ADS, AWR, HFSS, MATLAB, and Mechanical modeling applications* Experience with hardware design from concept through production delivery* BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS or PhD preferred**Eligibility Requirement:** This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered.
