Introduction
Welcome to Gallagher - a global community of people who bring bold ideas, deep expertise, and a shared commitment to doing what’s right. We help clients navigate complexity with confidence by empowering businesses, communities, and individuals to thrive. At Gallagher, you’ll find more than a job; you’ll find a culture built on trust, driven by collaboration, and sustained by the belief that we’re better together. Whether you join us in a client-facing role or as part of our brokerage division, our benefits and HR consulting division, or our corporate team, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your career, make an impact, and be part of something bigger. Experience a workplace where you’re encouraged to be yourself, supported to succeed, and inspired to keep learning. That’s what it means to live The Gallagher Way.

Overview

Gallagher is seeking an experienced, highly collaborative, and solutions-oriented Web Lead Specialist to join our Global Web Production team. Reporting directly to the Web Content Manager, this role serves as the operational lead for global web production activities, helping ensure quality, consistency, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous improvement across a distributed team of web editors.

The Web Lead Specialist is both a hands-on producer and team leader, serving as a subject matter expert in Sitecore CMS, digital publishing best practices, quality assurance, and production workflows. This individual will partner closely with marketers, project managers, developers, and web editors to deliver high-quality digital experiences while driving operational excellence across global regions.

This role also acts as a key escalation point for complex production requests and serves as a trusted backup to the Web Content Manager when needed.

How you'll make an impact
  • Lead web production quality reviews and enforce publishing standards, governance, and best practices.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex production, publishing, and CMS issues.
  • Manage and support daily web production operations, prioritizing work across stakeholders and regions.
  • Build, update, test, and publish web pages, campaigns, forms, landing pages, and digital assets in Sitecore.
  • Ensure all web content meets accessibility, brand, SEO, and governance requirements.
  • Perform advanced QA reviews, troubleshooting, and post-launch validation to maintain content quality.
  • Coach, mentor, onboard, and train web editors while promoting consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with marketers, content owners, and project teams to define requirements and deliver web solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, workflows, governance standards, and training materials.
  • Drive process improvements, reporting, and strategic initiatives to enhance team efficiency, scalability, and overall performance.

About You

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of web content, digital production, or website operations experience.
  • Experience with enterprise CMS platforms (Sitecore preferred).
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web QA processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills.
  • Proven troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience mentoring or leading peers.
  • Experience supporting global or distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with Workfront or similar project management tools.
  • Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG), SEO, and digital governance best practices.
  • Experience supporting large-scale corporate website operations.
