Job description

Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Sioux City, Iowa.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift: 12 hours, nights

We are seeking an experienced Travel Labor & Delivery RN to join an interdisciplinary team and provide high-quality care to laboring and postpartum patients. The ideal candidate will have strong high-acuity and high-risk L&D experience, including recent experience at a large, high-volume delivery center.

The traveler may be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses and must be comfortable floating to Postpartum 1โ€“2 shifts per week.

Required Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery / L&D RN experience
  • 24 months of current L&D experience documented in work history/resume
  • Circulating experience required
  • High-risk L&D experience required
  • High-acuity experience required
  • Experience within the previous year at a larger, high-volume delivery center with approximately 200โ€“300 deliveries/month
  • Must be comfortable floating to Postpartum 1โ€“2 shifts per week
  • Local candidates are not eligible
  • Candidate's taxable address must be more than 50 miles from the facility, based on driver's license
Preferred Experience
  • Scrub experience
  • Multiple completed travel contracts
  • Epic STORK experience
Certifications & Licensure

Required:

  • Active Iowa RN license
  • BLS โ€“ AHA or American Red Cross
  • ACLS โ€“ AHA or American Red Cross
  • AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
  • NRP โ€“ Neonatal Resuscitation Program
