Job description

Super 10 Dump Truck Driver

A respected Southern California grading and excavation contractor is seeking a Super 10 Dump Truck Driver to join their Trucking Division. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a family-owned company known for supporting major civil construction projects throughout the region with reliable trucking and hauling services. This is a non-union position with consistent project work throughout Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

Super 10 Dump Truck Driver Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Super 10 dump truck on active construction job sites

• Haul materials including dirt, asphalt grindings, aggregate, equipment, and construction debris

• Transport materials between jobsites, disposal facilities, and the company yard

• Maintain communication with jobsite foremen, superintendents, and company personnel

• Operate safely in compliance with company safety policies and California traffic laws

• Perform daily truck inspections and basic equipment care

• Assist jobsite crews when hauling operations allow

• Support field operations with tasks such as flagging traffic, sweeping work areas, and assisting with materials

• Complete daily haul tickets documenting loads, materials, origin, and destination

• Submit signed daily tickets and weekly timesheets per company procedures

• Represent the company professionally while operating on active client job sites

Super 10 Dump Truck Driver Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid California CDL

• Clean driving record

• Proven experience operating Super 10 dump trucks in construction environments

• Ability to safely navigate active construction job sites and material yards

• Ability to maintain accurate haul tickets and documentation

• Strong communication with foremen, dispatch, and field crews

• Ability to follow company safety standards and traffic regulations

• Ability to assist jobsite crews when hauling operations allow

• Ability to work variable schedules and overtime when required

Super 10 Dump Truck Driver Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience hauling for grading, excavation, or civil construction contractors

• Familiarity with Los Angeles and Ventura County jobsite operations and disposal facilities

• Prior experience working on residential tract developments or civil infrastructure projects

• Strong reputation for safe driving, reliability, and professionalism on job sites
