Responsibilities

  • Develop and strengthen referral relationships with:
    • Physicians
    • Specialty clinics
    • Hospitals
    • Case managers
    • Discharge planners
    • Healthcare administrators and executives
  • Drive territory growth across specialties including:
    • Rheumatology
    • Gastroenterology
    • Neurology
    • Immunology
    • Infectious disease
  • Identify and develop new referral opportunities throughout the market
  • Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and educational in-services with providers and staff
  • Build strategic territory plans using CRM tools, referral data, and market insights
  • Partner closely with pharmacy, nursing, and operations teams to deliver an exceptional provider and patient experience
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and growth opportunities

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of healthcare sales or account management experience, ideally within infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, home health, medical devices, or related clinical services
  • Proven success managing hospital and clinic accounts while building strong relationships with physicians, nurse practitioners, case managers, discharge planners, and healthcare administrators
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, referral processes, and patient care coordination
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage pipelines, track activity, and analyze referral trends
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage a field-based schedule, and prioritize multiple accounts effectively
  • Highly organized, responsive, and accountable with strong follow-through
  • Relationship-driven with a professional, growth-oriented mindset
  • Competitive and motivated by performance, territory growth, and long-term opportunity
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular travel throughout the territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing relationships within the Nashville healthcare market, including hospitals, specialty clinics, or physician groups, strongly preferred
  • Background in infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, or chronic disease management
  • Experience conducting provider presentations, educational in-services, or clinical staff education
